Dear fellow Michigan voters,
After careful consideration and a deep examination of the political landscape within our beautiful State of Michigan, it has become succinctly obvious that a good portion of the Michigan Republican party and its leadership is not willing or able to represent the people of Michigan.
Instead, it is willing only to represent itself and its own interests.
I announced my gubernatorial campaign with an ardent desire to serve Michigan’s people and return the Governor’s Seat to We the People. The longer I have campaigned, the more obvious it has become that being a “servant leader” who can effect change is impossible within the framework of the current Michigan Republican Party. Some of those who purport to be the “voice of the party”, actively stifle the voice of the people – which is where the inherent power of Government is supposed to rest.
As such, after much prayerful consideration, I have decided that the only way to return the Governor’s Seat to you, the people of Michigan, is for me to continue my campaign as a “NPA” or, Non-Party Affiliated candidate.
It is my sole desire to be able to fully represent the entirety of Michigan. This is not possible if our leadership is beholden to a donor structure and party leadership which is more concerned about the party, and has near zero concern for the people of Michigan. Their blatant gatekeeping and obstruction of actual systemic change must end. The only way to do this is through leadership which is not tied to the leash of the party and its corrupt donors. I am that leader.
This is not to say that there are no good people within both the leadership and activist levels of the MIGOP. I have met many amazing leaders and passionate Patriots who are similarly tied down by the limitations of the corruption within Michigan’s party system. I seek to work to free all from the binds that tie us down and subvert our freedom. It is my prayer that all Constitutional minded, freedom loving Patriots of all parties will join me in this fight. Only together can we create a movement capable of doing so!
Please join me in this monumental effort to supplant the current false dichotomy that presents the façade of choice between our Republican/Democrat “party system”. Both serve themselves, and the people are always left holding the bag.
We cannot end the systemic corruption unless we have a movement truly led by the people, free of the corporatist binds that suppress the good people within the party system.
I will provide leadership which is fearless and capable of making choices that no party politician is willing (or able) to do.
